Masked demonstrators attended the "NHS Workers say No!" protest at the McLennan Arch on Glasgow Green from 11am.They were asked by organisers to bring two-metre lengths of blue ribbon to demonstrate social distancing.Many protesters brandished placards demanding "Fight for NHS pay rise now - clapping is not enough" as they listened to speeches in the sunshine.One huge homemade banner emblazoned with a rainbow referenced Boris Johnson's personal coronavirus illness.It read: "We cared for you Boris now start caring about the NHS."While at the protest hundreds of NHS Scotland staff fell silent to remember colleagues lost during the coronavirus pandemic.Sarah Pirie - a nurse treating.
