Salford after reports of a serious crash involving a pedestrian. Police were called to Worsley Road at 7.30pm on Tuesday (January 26) to reports of a collision.A cordon has been in place between Walker Road and the Stablefold for a number of hours.Seven police cars are at the scene and have marked the road with orange cones and police tape.Officers from the Serious Collision Unit are investigating what has happened.Worsley Road has been closed and diversions are in place.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At 1930 hours on Tuesday 26 th January 2021 Police were called to reports of an RTC on Worsley Road at Eccles. "A scene is currently in place and police are investigating what has occurred.
