manchestereveningnews.co.ukdirect to your inboxPolice found a person hiding in the toilets of a gym when they raided the business following reports it was breaking lockdown rules.Officers visited the property - which has not been identified - on Friday (February 12) after receiving reports it was still being used by members, despite current coronavirus restrictions.Cops identified themselves, but couldn't gain access, so forced their way in.They found two people inside, including one who was hiding in the toilets.Those people have been issued with £200 fines by Greater Manchester Police.The gym owner has been issued with a £1,000 fine by Oldham council.Town hall bosses said owner of the property itself has also been issued with a fine for breaching coronavirus.
