A dad-of-four says he 'feels like a new man' after losing an incredible 23 stone. Thomas Daly, 46, from Dublin, decided to turn his life around after his weight ballooned to 37st 10lb, leaving him unable to even walk up the stairs.
The council worker, who described his former self as a 'walking heart attack', revealed he felt 'disgusting' before he started his weight loss journey, Dublin Live reports.
He managed to raise enough money for a gastric sleeve operation in the UK but then almost lost his life when he suffered complications from the surgery.
The dad ended up spending 65 days in intensive care and was dubbed the 'miracle man' for making it out of the hospital alive.
