Fire crews sent two engines to extinguish the flames, which were sparked within an electrical sub-station. Dark smoke was seen billowing across the sky above nearby buildings, with some residents reporting power outages.It's not believed there were any casualties as a result of the blaze.Officers attended and this morning they told the Record that their enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of how the fire started.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Wednesday April 28, police were made aware of a fire in Sinclair Street."Emergency services.
