Huge emergency service response after man stabbed at apartment block on outskirts of Manchester city centre

manchestereveningnews.co.ukManchester city centre tonight. Emergency services descended on Anaconda Cut on Greengate near the banks of the River Irwell in Salford.Police said they were called to the apartment block just after 9:45pm after reports a stabbing.
An adult male received knife injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said.
The severity of his injuries is not yet known.However numerous paramedic vehicles were among those that responded and could be seen parked outside the building.Eyewitnesses said around seven police vehicles also responded and that they saw a man being taken away by medics.
