Arsenal are hopeful that Kieran Tierney will be available for their clash with Manchester City on Saturday - with reports suggesting the club have successfully cut his isolation period short.
Tierney, 23, was told he would be required to self-isolate for 14 days after Scotland team-mate Stuart Armstrong tested positive for Covid-19 last Wednesday.
The Gunners left-back had been identified as a “close contact” of Armstrong, meaning he would be forced to undergo quarantine in what appeared a major blow for Mikel Arteta.
