Oldham. Police made the discovery during a raid on an 'empty retail unit' on Baxter Street in Hollinwood on Wednesday.Inside officers found 1,300 cannabis plants with a 'potential yield value of over £1m'.Pictures posted on the GMP Failsworth & Hollinwood Facebook page show hundreds of plants growing under lights  in what appears to be a large basement.Police posted: "On Wednesday officers from the Failsworth and Hollinwood Local Policing Team assisted by Colleagues from Oldham executed a Misuse Of Drugs Warrant at an empty retail unit on Baxter Street, Hollinwood."Over 1,300 cannabis plants and growing equipment was discovered inside.
