Legendary football manager Walter Smith sadly passed away on Tuesday morning aged 73. Smith was best known for his two spells with Rangers, guiding the team he supported as a boy to 10 Scottish league titles, five Scottish Cups, six Scottish League Cups and to the final of the UEFA Cup in 2008.
He would also spent four years as a Premier League manager with Everton. After his spell in Merseyside, Smith joined Sir Alex Ferguson, becoming Manchester United 's assistant manager - where he would serve during a single season.
And although his time in Manchester would be short, Smith made a hefty impression on a number of United players - including Cristiano Ronaldo.
