Bayern Munich didn't come to fruition due to a number of clauses Chelsea wanted to put into the agreement, it's been claimed.
The German champions reignited their longstanding interest in the England winger late in the summer transfer window.Bayern - who had multiple bids for Hudson-Odoi rejected last summer - wanted to sign the 19-year-old on loan with a view to permanently acquiring services next summer.Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia was open to the deal, which she entertained in a series of phone calls, but wanted to put a string of clauses in the deal.
And according to Sport Bild , one of those clauses would've seen a penalty imposed on Bayern if Hudson-Odoi didn't play a certain number of games.
