And it appears the star has already set his sights on America. Speaking to TV Week, he explained: "Obviously I have plans when it comes to moving to the US and giving the States a go and seeing what I can do over there."I have a great agent and everything set up there, so that was always [the plan], otherwise I feel like I would be wondering 'what if?'"Johnny Ruffo, who is best known for playing Chris Harrington, also has a music background.
Before joining the soap, the actor was a finalist on the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011. He managed to bag third place and subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia.
