Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has shared some adorable snaps from her family holiday with her birthday-boy Jonah as she misses out on soap awards. Ada, who plays Leah Patterson in the hit soap, has been a fan favourite since she joined over 20 years ago in 2000.

Home And Away actress Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah Patterson-Baker in the soap, has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her co-star Johnny Ruffo following his shock death. Ada shared a throwback snap of the pair, as she called 35 year old Johnny a “beautiful friend.” On Instagram, she started her post by saying: “Farewell our beautiful friend, fly free and rest in peace.”, before adding: “We will always remember your energy and your massive heart and of course the dance moves.” Johnny passed away earlier this month at a hospital in Sydney, surrounded by his family and his partner, Tahnee Sims. Since the news of the actor's death emerged, stars have been paying tribute to him on social media.

As the former Home and Away co-stars compete against each other on Dancing With The Stars: All Stars – which is currently filming in Sydney ahead of its upcoming premiere – insiders have revealed the coveted mirror ball trophy isn’t the only thing dividing the pair.  

The 43-year-old frequently posts gushing tributes about the youngster on social media, as well as plenty of candid photos from delightful mother-son moments.

In a sentimental touch, Ada Nicodemou will be reunited with her original dance partner Aric from 16 years ago!

“Very excited to be an auntie for the first time,” Ada, 43, wrote. “My brother and his wife are expecting - can’t wait.”

And on Wednesday, the 43-year-old took some time away from the set to enjoy another delightful date with her ‘little man’ at the aquarium in Sydney.

"Finally got @lynnemcgranger to my favourite local restaurant @jensensrestaurant to celebrate our very late birthdays," the Home and Away actor captioned her photo. Since Lynne's birthday was in January and Ada's was back in May, it certainly is a late one!

THE Home and Away cast are currently rehearsing in isolation due to the current spread of the coronavirus. Emily Symons - who plays Marilyn Chambers in the Australian soap - shared a snap to her Instagram which showed their first ever virtual rehearsal on Sykpe.
