HOLLYOAKS star Lysette Anthony has quit Twitter after a backlash over the soap's racism row. The actress - who plays Marnie Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap - has deleted her profile following the row with co-star Rachel Adedeji and former co-star Charlie Clapham.
Rachel had slammed Lysette Anthony as "actual trash" after she allegedly sent a text message regarding the ongoing race row.
Rachel, who quit the Channel 4 soap this week, was replying to a screenshot of a WhatsApp group that appears to show several members of the cast discussing the situation.
