Hollyoaks villain Silas Blissett (Jeff Rowle) causes chaos in the village next week but all is not as it seems.The McQueens are haunted by mysterious notes as Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) fears her worst nightmare, Silas has returned.When Grace Black (Tamara Wall) refuses to help, Mercedes resorts to extreme measures to protect her family, but will it will be too much for her to bear?READ MORE: Hollyoaks autumn trailer teases Victor's return, death tragedy and killer exposedMercedes demands answers off her son, Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox) after he's caught red-handed, but is surprised that he only intended on protecting his family.

She begs PC Sam Chen-Williams (Matthew McGivern) for an update on Silas, but he reassures her that he’s been arrested. Mercedes plans to finish him off for good, but when she spots him being transported to a police van, she realises it’s an imposter.John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) encourages Mercedes to stop living in fear, but another threatening letter solidifies the fact they have a reason to be scared.Elsewhere, Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) is convinced Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) doesn’t fancy her after he suggests they keep their relationship fun, but after some encouragement off Leah Barnes (Elá-May Demircan), she sends him a selfie.

Ella panics about the pictures she sent to Charlie and begs him to delete them. A -back-to-school sports day ends in disaster when Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer) reaches boiling point and launches a ball at Ella.

Charlie chases him into the school and, after an argument, punches him, but is quickly caught by Nancy Osbourne (Jessica Fox).Ella is far-from-pleased with her boyfriend’s actions and makes a big decision.
