Holly Willoughby admitted to an awkward slip up where she broke a golden fashion rule on the way to Royal Ascot.Yesterday (15 June) she was looking very pretty in pink on the second day of Ascot as she rocked a stunning skin tight dress. The mother-of-three, 41, accessorised the gorgeous dress with a matching pink handbag and a gorgeous pink hat with flowers on the inside.Holly spoke to Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins when she arrived at the races.During their chat, Holly explained how her hat had broken a basic fashion rule and caused mayhem during her car journey from This Morning to Ascot.Charlotte asked the 41 year old: “Holly, you had a bit of difficulty in the car coming down, didn’t you?”Holly replied: “I did This Morning today, then I jumped straight in the car to get down here because I didn’t want to miss the first race.“I put my hat on and got in the car then realised I couldn’t actually fit in the car with my hat, but it’s all pinned in."The mum of three then added: “So I was lying with my seat belt on like this (slumped) the whole way here, but it’s fine I think, it just about survived.”Let's be honest, we've all been there.Maybe not with a Royal Ascot hat, but we've definitely all worn some sort of outfit that makes it difficult to get into a car at some point.Even though she had a little fashion faux pas, Holly looked glamorous as always as she partnered the out fit with a pair of nude heels and kept her make-up nice and simple, with a burst of candyfloss pink gloss on her lips.Hopefully the races has cheered Holly up after she was left less than impressed with the contents of a Blue Peter time capsule from more than 40 years ago on This Morning on Monday (Tuesday.)
