The Clean Air Zone would be the largest of its kind in the UK but will not include restrictions on private cars, under plans that are being consulted on until today (Thursday).Regional leaders and the government have been locked in a stalemate over financial support for businesses affected by the plans since they were first unveiled in early 2019.
