Dame Barbara Windsor has died at the age of 83 after her brave battle with dementia. The actress was a national treasure, and enjoyed a career that spanned over seventy years.
While she became known to many as Peggy Mitchell, the landlady of the Queen Vic pub in EastEnders, she first reached fame starring in Carry On films.
The Carry Ons were known for their saucy humour and outrageous innuendos, and Barbara fitted right in playing the role of the good time girl in nine of the films.
From the iconic moment her bikini top flew off in Carry On Camping, to the image of her wearing love hearts on her naked body while getting examined by Dr Nookey in Carry On Again Doctor, Barbara was a massive part of this British institution.
