Leading doctors have welcomed a move to ease the workload of GPs so they can focus more on rolling out Covid booster jabs. But they've warned that despite the lighter workload, there is still 'significant' pressure.

It comes as the government decided to ramp up the vaccination programme with the aim of offering all eligible adults a booster vaccine by the end of January.
