Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain bosses were left scrambling to fix technical woes today after Winston Churchill's grandson Sir Nicholas Soames was cut out during Thursday's show.
The Conservative MP has been billed to appear on the hit ITV programme alongside Lord Richard Dannatt to talk about VE Day. However, things didn't quite go to plan for hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid.
When GMB host Ben tried to connect to Sir Nicholas it soon became apparent the line had cut out. Looking concerned Ben tried to speak to Sir Nicholas one more time before admitting defeat. "I think we've lost the line to Sir Nicolas" he explained while keeping calm and pushing ahead with the segment.
