Gogglebox deny claims of ‘inhumane’ working conditions on set

GOGGLEBOX has denied claims made by a former employee that they were forced to work through "inhumane" conditions on set. A former employee of the reality series claimed they were often subjected to "screaming for 12 hours a day" to get the show on air.

A number of staff members - previously employed by Studio Lambert -alleged they had to tolerate excessive working hours and go without breaks.

Speaking to The Guardian, one said: "People have had enough. You don’t turn up to work to be screamed at for 12 hours a day. "It was the worst job I ever did.
