Good Morning Britain presenter Sean Fletcher was left cringing into his hands today after wrongly explaining what Welsh people often called a microwave.
Sean had joined hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shephard to discuss Nigella Lawson's latest food controversy, which included her use of the word 'microwave'.
After her flippant comment that she had put her milk in the 'meek-ro-warv-ay', the GMB stars joked about the moment. But Sean also said that the Welsh had a different word for microwave, which was 'pippity-pong'.
After the break, Charlotte joked that she had an urgent clarification to make as Sean looked very red-faced. Charlotte asked: "Would you like to explain yourself?" Reluctantly, Sean said: "It's actually popty ping.
