Mystery Diners in Glasgow is set to launch a new unique app in collaboration with Glasgow University - helping locals save money whilst supporting local businesses.
It comes as the award-winning Glasgow food scene continues to grow, and people across the city are keen to get their hands on restaurant gift vouchers.The app, named My Dine, is available for Android and iPhone users and was created by foodies Olivia and Chris and is behind the popular Instagram account, Mystery Diners Glasgow.The pair, who have amassed an impressive Instagram following thanks to their food reviews showcasing local businesses, meticulously curate each restaurant, rigorously testing and reviewing each venue before any vouchers are released.Co-founder Olivia said that they are "elevating restaurant vouchers from mere discounts to verified, high-quality dining experiences."Users of the app are able to select from a range of offers from popular eateries.Through a unique collaboration with Glasgow University, My Dine engaged third-year computer science students at Glasgow University in a friendly competition to develop the Android app.After a meticulous selection process, the winning design was chosen for its impeccable user experience making it easy for foodies to navigate their way around Glasgow to eat at their favourite gems - as well as to help people discover new places.The project received vital marketing support from Glasgow Business Gateway, solidifying its promise to revolutionise how people buy restaurant vouchers.Excited for the people of Glasgow to benefit from the app, co-founder Chris said: "We’re thrilled to turn our passion for dining into a venture that supports local restaurants while offering consumers an exceptional culinary
