Luke Temple's floaty voice is recognizable on the latest single from his alter-ego, Art Feynman. But anyone who's listened exclusively to his work under his own name — earthy, folky, exploring the same space that Bill Callahan and Cass McCombs inhabit — will be lost in "I'm Gonna Miss Your World," premiering at the top of the page.
Like much of his forthcoming LP Half Price at 3:30, it shares more with the revolutionary Cameroonian makossa artist Francis Bebey and even early, exploratory Japanese pop than it does with softly psychedelic Americana, its repetitions and electronic textures becoming more hypnotic as the song presses forwards.
