Gary Neville has revealed how Jamie Carragher gets around Liverpool’s coronavirus restrictions. The city is currently under Tier 2, which means that pubs can only sell alcohol if they serve a substantial meal, while attendances at outdoor sports venues are capped at 50% of stadium capacity or 2,000 people, whichever is smaller.
And former Manchester United star Neville explained to Monday Night Football viewers how fellow pundit Carragher dodges the Tier 2 rules. "He [Carragher] was telling us earlier, you go into a pub in Liverpool at 12 o'clock, they stick a pizza in the middle of your table."That same pizza is there 12 o'clock at night, it's like a frisbee!"Neville also insisted that football should carry on, despite tighter restrictions.
