Gary Neville has hit out at the government after confirmation of the latest review of the three-tier structure of coronavirus restrictions.
London and other areas of the country have this week been plunged into stricter Tier 3 measures as a result of rising infection rates.
But some areas who were already in Tier 3, such as Manchester, have remained unchanged despite falling rates. It has led Neville to brand the Tory government, led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, as the "biggest set of charlatans to ever be elected" in a furious response.
