Morrissey has hit out at The Simpsons for their ‘hateful’ and ‘racist’ portrayal of him. The Smiths singer, 61, was left highly offended after he was parodied in Sunday night’s episode of the legendary cartoon as fictional character, Quilloughby.
During the episode called Panic On The Streets Of Springfield, Lisa Simpson befriended an imaginary singer with depressive tendencies and a love of vegetarianism.
Quilloughby could be seen complaining about everything during the episode as his ‘miserable’ nature dominated the episode before the young musician - who looked eerily like Morrissey - morphed into a grey-haired man with a big belly.
