A funeral cortege held for one of Britain's oldest identical twins after she died of Covid drove past her favourite Asda on the way to church.

Doris Hobday and sister Lilian Cox, 96, both contracted coronavirus shortly after Christmas, reports Birmingham Live. The cheeky pair, beloved across the nation for their appearances on Good Morning Britain, had spent 2020 sticking to the rules.

But the duo, dubbed the 'Tipton Twins', still caught the virus late in the year and their health quickly deteriorated. Doris then sadly passed away last month after a short stay in a hospital near her hometown in the West Midlands. Got a story?
