Frankie Bridge used to carry plastic cutlery everywhere with her, because her obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) made her believe restaurants didn’t wash their metal cutlery properly.

The Saturdays star has been open about her experiences with depression and OCD, and in her new book Open, she shares how her OCD affected her daily life.

In an excerpt printed by The Sun, Frankie, 31, explained that she feared that cutlery in restaurants and hotels wouldn’t be clean.
