But as long as it is safe for large gatherings to continue then boxing must keep going. We are still very excited about Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce clashing for the British heavyweight title next month.
That will be a huge event and ticket sales have been brilliant so far. We don’t want to disappoint the punters by cancelling anything until we are told we should for the safety of the public.
As we said in a statement this week, the plan is still for that show to go ahead. And we remain very optimistic it will take place as planned.
