Frank Lampard has been handed a transfer boost as Everton’s £500million takeover edges closer.A consortium, spearheaded by former Manchester United and Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon and bankrolled by Maciek Kaminski, is expected to reach an agreement to buy the club in the next month.

According to The Telegraph, a deal could be reached by the time Lampard’s team arrives in Minneapolis, USA for their pre-season tour.Kaminski is said to be hopeful of being introduced to Lampard as the new Toffees custodian or at least prospective new owner by that point.
