Everton are looking to improve on a disappointing Premier League campaign last season by securing their transfer targets ahead of the new campaign.
The Toffees could only manage a 12th place finish last term with Carlo Ancelotti working with what he had after coming in to replace Marco Silva.
Ancelotti has so far been frustrated in his attempts to sign his top targets this summer. The club had initially reached an agreement with Southampton to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but Tottenham beat them to it.
