Four people evacuated after building 'collapses into street' as emergency crew scrambled

London, collapsed in the early hours of Monday, May 10, MyLondon reports.Due to fears the building is still unstable the section of the road between Tramway Avenue and St Alphege Road was closed at around 4am.Hertford Food & Wine, a shop on the ground floor of the building, remains closed following the incident.Images from the scene which have been widely shared on social media show debris scattered across the pavement in front of the shop.The road is normally a busy and bustling key transport route for the north London area.Emergency services rushed to the scene and a police cordon around the building has been put in place.The cordon appears to also be around neighbouring properties on each side which include a barbers and a betting.
