Northwich train station reopens two days after building collapsed onto platform

Northern confirmed on Thursday that services are able to stop at the station, which has been closed since Tuesday when the gable of a building fell through the canopy and onto the platform, CheshireLive reports.

The incident led to widespread travel disruption on the network. Thankfully, nobody was injured as a result of the collapse and an investigation is being carried out by Network Rail.
