Former policewoman urging Buddies to join in mass charity workout in Paisley

A former policewoman is staging a mass workout to try and raise as much money as possible to fight cancer.And super-fit Alanna Perratt wants as many people as possible to congregate in a Paisley park later this month.The 34-year-old is encouraging Buddies to be more positive with an energetic start to 2022.The ex-beat cop said she has felt compelled to do more voluntary work...

and just do “positive and feel-good stuff that helps people”.Alanna said: “I want to do more for and in the community this year.“Although I don’t have a dramatic cancer story to tell from my family, cancer can affect everyone.“I have been wanting to do charity work for a while and to me the Beatson Cancer Charity is a great cause.”Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
