A food bank worker has revealed some of the heartbreaking stories of families queuing for up to three hours amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Melanie Rochford is director of business and development at Hackney Food Bank in London, run by the Trussell Trust, which works with food banks in the capital and across the country.
She has spoken of just some of the many poignant stories of vulnerable people suddenly finding themselves needing help from food banks due to the Covid-19 crisis.
