Comparisons are being made between Maddie Perez on “Euphoria” (played by Alexa Demie) and another TV character who appeared onscreen 20 years earlier: Manny Santos of “Degrassi: The Next Generation”.

The cast of Degrassi was no stranger to tackling tough topics on the teen series, but sometimes the issues hit too close to home. Miriam McDonald revealed the writers made her character, Emma, anorexic while the actress was recovering from an eating disorder of her own.

Actress and Tik Tok star Cassie Steele recently tried out the super-viral Buss It challenge that’s been making rounds on social media, and it looks like she may have won! Steele took to Instagram to post a video of her doing the challenge and it was so eye-catching that even her Degrassi co-star and pop icon Drake left a comment on it! For the unversed, the 31-year-old actress essayed the role of Manny Santos on the 2001 drama Degrassi, and for this challenge, she re-created one of her character’s most memorable moments. At the start of the video, Steele is seen wearing a baggy T-shirt with her hair wrapped up in a towel but then she drops it low and changes into a low-cut shirt and jeans while showing off a bedazzled, blue thong pulled up
