Dramatic images show the inferno on the roof of a building as firefighters terrified witnesses watch on, while covering their faces due to the smoke.
The incident has occurred between Winkfield Road and Acacia Road at Erica House report locals. The building is reported to be a block of maisonettes, from which 20 people have been evacuated according to London Fire Brigade.
According to a local news outlet, 10 fire engines and around 70 firefighters have responded to the incident in the apartment building.
