Alan Shearer issues Arsenal and Tottenham warning after ‘drab’ North London Derby
dailystar.co.ukArsenal and Tottenham have got a massive amount of improving to do if they want to catch the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.That is the view of former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer, who has slammed both sides for their showing in a “poor” North London Derby on Sunday.Spurs ran out 2-1 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where goals from Son Heung-min and Toby Alderweireld came after Alexandre Lacazette’s opener.The result leaves Jose Mourinho’s men in eighth spot in the Premier League, one place and two points above the Gunners.But they are still a massive 41 points behind champions Liverpool, who have only dropped 12 points throughout the whole season.And Shearer has warned both London sides that they have a lot of work to do.
