Manchester United legend Gary Neville has been lauded on his analysis of Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold. The England international has endured a difficult start to the season that has seen him be frequently snubbed for first team selection by Three Lions’ manager Gareth Southgate.
While the 23-year-old did score a wonderful goal in Jurgen Klopp ’s side’s 9-0 demolition of Bournemouth, he was found wanting during the Merseysiders’ 3-3 home draw against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Klopp may have launched a staunch defence of the talent he has nurtured ever since he afforded him his debut in 2016, but the critics have still been out for Alexander-Arnold.
