Manchester United have increased security at their training complex as protestors turned up to rally against the Glazer's ownership.Dozens of security guards have been at Carrington Training Complex as a fan group called ‘The 1958’ demonstrated against the Glazer family.
Security guards and stewards were on patrol at every entrance at the training ground, with concerns over having repeated the scenes almost exactly a year ago when the ground was breached.On Friday, a group held banners that read: “Disgrace.
Not fit to wear the shirt” and “Glazers Out.” The police were called by the club, who also released a statement calling the protest 'peaceful'.
The protest is thought to be a precursor to the planned demonstration during Norwich’s visit to Old Trafford on Saturday. United boss Ralf Rangnick said: "We all know that football is a game of passions and emotions and we can all understand.
