A former soldier has admitted killing a dad and two children in a crash while he was drunk at the wheel. David Logan, 37, today pleaded guilty to three counts of causing death by dangerous driving at Preston Crown Court.
He also admitted drink driving and a charge of destroying property, referring to the family's Yorkshire Terrier, which also died.
Joshua Flynn, 37, and his children Coby-Jay, 15, and Skylar, 12, were walking their family dog Troy when they were struck by Logan’s Peugeot 206 in Abbey Road, Dalton-in-Furness on June 21 2020.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene, along with the Yorkshire Terrier, Lancs Live reports. Wearing a grey Nike Tshirt, Logan spoke only to confirm his identity and guilty pleas to all four charges
