The former Of Mice & Men singer Austin Carlile has denied the rape allegations made against him. In a blog post a woman accused Carlile of being a "serial rapist" who used his fame to prey on young women.

She claimed he had attacked her and others and claimed their stories have been ignored. In a statement Carlile, who quit the band in 2016 due to his struggles with Marfan Syndrome, said the accusations were "false and defamatory".

The accuser made her claims after Alternative Press ran a story about Carlile's recent social media posts in which he spoke about COVID-19 and finding religion.
