Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho was good in training, but he couldn't hold a candle to Daniel Sturridge. That's according to ex-Reds academy prospect Conor Masterson, who was lucky enough to see the duo in action at Melwood.
Irish centre-back Masterson was Liverpool Under-18 captain when he was invited by then boss Brendan Rodgers to train with the first-team.
Masterson, who has since joined Queens Park Rangers in 2019 after he was released by Liverpool, saw a number of stars up close and was particularly impressed by Sturridge. "Daniel Sturridge, man!
