Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre is hopeful that Erling Haaland will not be out for long after the striker suffered an injury.
Haaland was forced off in the second half of Dortmund’s 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Tuesday night. The result moved Bayern seven points clear at the top of the table though plenty of Dortmund fans were more concerned about the fitness of Haaland.
The 19-year-old has scored ten Bundesliga goals for Dortmund in just eight starts and three substitute appearances since arriving in January.
And Favre is hopeful that the former RB Salzburg star will not be sidelined for too much time with his knock. "I don't think he'll be out for long,” Favre said after the defeat. “He’s got a knee injury.
