Erik Lamela has denied reports suggesting Jose Mourinho is already losing the dressing room at Tottenham, insisting the squad are “very happy” with the Portuguese.
Mourinho, 57, replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs when the Argentinian was sacked back in November. It has been a fairly underwhelming start for the Special One, who has won just 11 of his first 26 games in charge - crashing out of both the Champions League and the FA Cup.
He appears to have fallen out with £54m recruit Tanguy Ndombele, claiming the midfielder refused to play in their 2-1 win over Brighton on Boxing Day.
And reports in January also suggested Spurs players are already growing tired of Mourinho’s “outdated” training methods and tactics.
