Two strange things are going on in the theatrical industrial complex. One: the largest global theater group, the executive committee of the Global Cinema Federation, have been begging New York state governor Andrew Cuomo to reopen New York state theaters (though last time we checked the global box office is not dependent on New York and the suggestion that New York leads the entire global box office and its nothing without it, is something that would surely be offensive to most of these regional theaters chains without a pandemic).
