With the Emmys returning to their fall berth after the strike-delayed 2023 edition in January, the caravan of pre- and post-ceremony celebrations is also back to (almost) normal.
The 2024 roster is extensive, though we will likely never see again the scope of the Peak TV-fueled bustling pre-pandemic Emmy party scene, with media consolidation and economic factors trimming the list over the past few years.
This awards season marks the return to the Emmy party circuit for WME after a six-year break and Gersh after 7 years. Hollywood talent agencies only resumed their Emmy festivities in 2022 after skipping 2019 over the standoff with the WGA and 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
There were also no agency parties leading to the 2023 Emmys held this past January. Of the two agencies that held soirées in 2022, UTA is back, while CAA is sitting this year out.
