She had been in the hospital with Dan and Amelia when she saw Vanessa by herself. Vanessa was initially hostile towards Kerry, who was to blame for dad Frank Clayton's death last year.
However as they began to talk about Frank and the factory fire, their relationship appeared to thaw. However Charity, who previously thought Tracy had gone to the hospital with Vanessa, arrived and exploded at Kerry.
