A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

We are investigating and taking steps to fix it. We will update everyone shortly,” Twitter said in a statement from its support account.
