The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been pulled from the schedule on Australia's Channel 9 as allegations about a 'toxic' workplace continue.
Daily repeats of the chat show have been scrapped in Aus in favour or Desperate Housewives reruns - while discussions about the broadcasting of new episodes are said to be 'still ongoing'. “We are resting Ellen repeats on Nine and have replaced with Desperate Housewives,” a spokesperson confirmed to news.com.au.
Denying they have specifically 'axed' the show, the source added that "Discussions are ongoing regarding the new series." The news comes after it was revealed the show is being investigated by Warner Media.
